  These are my very first designs for my magazine logo/masthead, ive taken inspiration from the Metal Hammer magazine and experimented with the positioning and look of the word "mayhem" while inside the word "Metal", i will further develop this design and attempt to give it more texture to make it look more unique and original. I may also experiment with contrasting colours such as outlining the word "Mayhem" with a much brighter colour such as yellow, red, blue etc. Cover & Contents page layouts   These are the templates i have created for both of my magazine covers so i can easier organise and arrange all of the elements i have aswell as making it easier when it comes to assembling these elements in my final version. Research Conclusion

 Magazine Write about the main concept of your magazine: My product will a metal rock music magazine, i will conform to typical magazine elements and layout, i will take my own photographs for the main image, my initial plan is to photograph my dad in appropriate clothing and assisted with appropriate mis-en-scene. My main image will be central, surrounded by cover lines on the side and a masthead along the top, with smaller elements included such as a puff, barcode etc. The name of my magazine will be "Metal Mayhem", this name relates with the vibrant and active genre. The word 'metal directly relating to the genre" and "Mayhem" being related to the violent nature of Metal Music aswell as being inspired and referencing the famous metal magazine Metal Hammer.
