Website Diary
I decided on this template for my website as i feel it fits my genre and can be easily adjusted to fit my images.
First Changes
My first changes were add in my own masthead at the top of the page and to replace existing images with my own in a rough format that i will likely change and make neater, i also added a decent amount of text throughout the page, including an about us section and area at the bottom with a placeholder video ready for when i record my interview video.
I completely removed everything from the artist page and replaced it with a store page, this will be my link page and currently has placeholder images of magazine covers that i will replace with my own when im happy with them along with text at the bottom of the page expressing my producers company values.
Animations
I have added fade in and out animation to all of my images and some of my text on the home and link page, this will make the website feel more interactive and interesting to navigate and will function as part of my audio visual content, i may change the animations in the future if i find one that fits more comfortably.
Donation Section
On my store page i have also added this donation section underneath my text to encourage audiences to donate, i will try to create elements to fill in the empty space to the right of the donation box
Video Element Script-
This is the script for my website video, which will be an interview with the model for my fictional metal star Saxon Durrant acting as this character would.
I:
So tell me, what were some of the earliest influences that made you realise that this is what you wanted to do, be a metal star?
SD:
Some of my earliest influences, hmm well id have to say *****, ***** and *****. They really inspired me to get into the metal scene and helped me realise my passion.
I:
Amazing, exactly the answer you would expect, some of the most legendary metal artists, wouldn't be any other way. And how about how you've changed over the years some of that stuff is pretty classic but id say your pretty different nowadays, is that because you've tried to sort of keep with the times or just wanted to change or?
SD:
Id say a bit of both, ive never lost that thirst for yknow, fame and glory and whatnot. And i realise that "classic stuff" like you said is getting pretty old now and might well be outdated so changing my style and my songs has been sort of needed to keep myself up there. but id say ive also very much enjoyed the changes and sort of phases ive gone through throughout the years, its been incredible and eye opening and i think its really helped me change and adapt to things.
I:
Amazing, genuinely inspiring. Really.
SD:
Thank you, Thank you
I:
Now to move onto something a bit lighter, do you have any pets or a favorite animal or anything like that.
SD:
Oh yes, ive got this pug at home, ugliest thing on the planet but i absolutely love him to bits, ive always liked dogs, had tons over the years.
